Kuranda Shorts Urban

I wore the Kuranda Shorts for the first time, during a sunrise shakeout run over the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the lead up to the Sydney Marathon. I can't count how many compliments I got about them on the day, but so much more than that... you will find endless five-star reviews for activewear across the internet. To me, Horizon Athletic does things that no other activewear brand does. For starters, their garments are designed by athletes, for athletes - this is obvious in every detail - in the way the product feels, in the way it allows your body to move, in every design detail from the seam-free panels to the statement block colours, waistband pockets, reflective details and high-quality, moisture-wicking Italian fabric (that feels like silk to touch). Not only that, there is a level of detail, story and care that goes into each piece. I loved the description on the swingtag that shares the inspiration and purpose of the Ultra Active Collection. I can't wait to wear these shorts again at this weekend's Sydney Backyard Ultra - they look good, feel good, and will keep me going loop after loop.
